Its been a long time, but I shall write again.
Quick update, I am now engaged and will be having my wedding in March of 2016! I'm so thrilled to be spending my life with one of my best friends.
I really feel like scream sometimes at the top of my lungs about how truly lucky I am.
I'm going to be also updating this site and changing some of the visuals to make it more up to par with my recent lifestyle changes.
Until next time!

Happy Year of the Dragon! The first day of the new year is tomorrow, so let's start this year right. I'll be spending the whole day with the family, visiting relatives and family friends and wishing them a prosperous new year.
For the past week, I have been cleaning my room and my mother has been making traditional Chinese New Year treats.

Just realized I had a great great year...just to recap..
Ran first half marathon (NWM2o11)
Got my CA Driver's License
Did my first campaign and won!
I guess that's most of my exciting first, but that's pretty intense.
I'm proud of myself for everything on that list just because they weren't easy accomplishments, especially the last one...

Today I was craving chocolate so I walked over to the Walgreens by my work and started browsing the chocolate aisle. To my surprise Wonka Bars were on sale! 2/$3! Score! I decided to test out my luck and purchase two to double my chance of winning that golden ticket. I believe it took Charlie two tries!!!
So recently I signed up for a yelp account. Finally! Now I can be a real meanie and comment on the eateries that I visited in SF!! My life has a purpose now! Yelp also renewed my reasoning for going out to eat as much as I do!
In terms of food news, I been retired from the kitchen for the last four months. That territory is strictly MAMA LEI's construction zone.

NOW that I'm interning from 8am-4pmish twice a week, I need to start bring lunch to work.
Bring lunch during my DC days were pretty standard, left overs from the night before, pasta, rice, salads or sandwiches. I like to mix it up now and again with the staples. However, nowadays living with my parents mean that my daily staple will be jasmine rice. HAHA. Not that great. During my college days I swear I was jasmine rice deficient, now I have it at every meal. How the times have changed. Anyhow back to the point of the post. I think a great way for me to spice up my left overs will be making it into edible pieces of art! Who said we are too old to play with our food? They got nothing on this!
